About Us

Our Mission

Bloomers Wellbeing CIC is a community interest company offering affordable, one-to-one emotional health and wellbeing support for children and young people aged 8 to 18. Based in Wrexham, we also support families across Flintshire and Denbighshire.

We believe in the power of early intervention — reaching young people before problems escalate. Our work is non-clinical, inclusive, and grounded in compassion, safety and trust.

Trained in safeguarding, and passionate about creating safe spaces where young people can talk, be understood, and build resilience.

Why Are We Here?

In Northeast Wales, 59% of young people are turned away from clinical services as they are ‘not unwell enough’ to obtain support. If they do meet their criteria, they can wait up to 34 weeks for support.

We set up Bloomers to change that — by offering a preventative, compassionate alternative that catches problems early and helps prevent escalation. We aim to ensure everyone can access the support they need without barriers.

Our Approach

It is important to understand that we are not a clinical service. We offer early intervention wellbeing sessions, ensuring young people never need to access stretched clinical services. By offering “the right support, at the right time” we aim to support our young people with emotional health and mental wellbeing challenges.

Sponsor A Young Person

It’s an unfair reality that the children who need support most often face the biggest barriers — and one of the hardest is financial. Could you sponsor a young person on their journey back to wellness?
